Karateka Posted November 3, 2001 Posted November 3, 2001 It is amazing what people think of styles now a days. I may be contradicting some of my other posts but I have just come to this realization myself. It is not the style, it is what the teacher teaches you. Martial Arts was not about fighting, but about a way of living a non-violent life. If your teacher cannot embody that in his or her students, then the teacher has failed. I think we should put aside the style thing and judge people on what they do, not what they associate themselves with "Never hit a man while he's down; kick him, its easier"Sensei Ron Bagley (My Sensei)
