BKJ1216
I'm new here. I just signed up to ask a question about the comparison of shudokan karate and shotokan karate. I havne't started any martial arts training yet, I want to know which school to go to beacuse those are the two available in my area. I guess I'll try and post around some, but if I got with shudokan I won't be doing anything until may 12th. White Belt- Shudokan Karate
Pacificshore
Hi and welcome aboard. Not sure of Shudokan as this is the first I've heard of it, but somehow I see it as a mix of Shotokan and something else. BKJ1216
Well I'm pretty sure that they trained under the sam instructor/master/sensei but shotokan has more back stances. At least that's what the instructors wife tells me. White Belt- Shudokan Karate

BKJ1216
^ I really wish I could, no one here seems to have even heard of shudokan karate. Is shotokan karate very good? Then againt I probably should stick with shudokan it has a great history. One of the students was the first forener to get pas 6th dan or something, i can't rember too well right now. I'm going to do the free classes at both of them ask a lot fo questions from the instructors so i choose the right one.
