Wow.. that's insane. I got on tonight to make this topic! I spent 7 hours playing paintball today. I love it! My friends and I have our own field. Its huge! I don't see how people say that paintballs hurt a lot though. Maybe its because I don't feel pain like normal people, but I got shot in the crotch today during a "suicide run" (when you were already killed and you come running back into the game running down the field firing wildly) and I never missed a step with the running. I also got shot in the collar bone, armpit, inner thigh, kneecap, shin, between the first two knuckles on both hands, forearm, chest, abs, etc. (We played a LOT, lol) I feel perfectly fine though. The only protective gear I had was my mask. hahahaha My friend got cocky with his laser sight and tried to blind me with it so his teammate could kill me. His laser let me know right where he was because I saw the straight red line from me to him. I shot him in the neck from like 80 feet and it spattered under his helmet. He was all green. It was great. What kind of games do you play? We have a lot of different games. For instance...

Protect the President: Someone is designated "President" (They don't get a gun.) and a few people ("Secret Service") have to protect them while they go down the field. While they are moving, a few snipers will be in the field trying to kill them. The Secret Service has to make it to the other end of the field to win. Either that or kill the snipers.

Gettysburg: You can only load one ball into your gun at a time. No hoppers!

Capture the Flag: If you don't know about this... you don't play paintball. haha

Lots of other stuff as well.

Never played paintball but I have thought about loading colorful paintballs into my blow gun and setting up a canvas and seeing what kind of artwork resulted.

Yeah it's a great game sport isn't it? I have played the games you mentioned. We built a field at my Sensei's house. He has 80 acres with fields and woods. I have access to a backhoe and we built bunkers and trenches. We alos built an area where we play speedball. That is fun but fast. We built all kinds of forts and stuff.

What kind of gun do you have? I bought an E-99 last spring and love it. We don't play during the winter because it's very cold and the snow is deep up here. I can't wait til it warms up.

I know what you mean about it not hurting. It stings a little at first but after that it's just a welt. Here is a picture of us

I just played for the first time this weekend as part of our dojo's Winter Training. We played Capture the Bucket on a thickly wooded hill, you had to find the other team's bucket & get it back to your own to win. I can't say I enjoyed it too much, would definitely try it again but no more rental equipment for me! The no-fog stuff didn't do anything so I couldn't see a thing, so I didn't notice when a part broke off my gun adn the balls started dropping harmlessly out the side...I figured that out right as I was lying in perfect cover in the underbrush and the guy who SHOULD have been dead finally managed to hit me in the neck. It was worth it tho, cause after he got me and the other guy I was with he stood up to gloat, and another teammate of ours popped out of the brush and nailed him right between the eyes. :D

I managed to lose my 'hopper' several times. No Joy.

My mask kept steaming up. No Joy.

However, I did manage to snipe someone whilst running - right on the nose. MWHAHAHAAH. I AM THE PAINTBALL OVERLORD..........ALL BOW DOWN TO MY GREATNESS..........ahem....maybe not.......I've only done it once....

I used to play a bit, mostly indoor. I have an impulse, mask, an extra spyder te, and other assorted parts... I haven't played in I don't know how long. My friend said that he is dragging me out to the next scenario game whether I want to go or not.
