babysteffee
If you haven't done any running/jogging before I would start of easy...it's not hard to get an injury from running from the strain you put on your ankles and knees. I would suggest starting at a maximum of 2 miles a day alternating with a rest day...and only increasing by a maximum of half a mile each week. Or, going by time...try running for a 5 mins followed by walking for 5 mins for a maximum of 30 minutes a time for the first week at least. taezee
brother not for nuthin but you should have a trainer/coach telling you what you should be doing...i mean there are people on this site who know what they are talking about but you have others who are legends in ther own mind and i dont believe that for training for a fight you rely on info you recieve on the net and then decide which info is legit or not..do you have a trainer now? Prodigy-Child
technically wise you should be speaking with your trainer about that conditioning wise i think all the advice i could give is that you should do alot of anaerobic conditioning and aerobic conditioning maybe you have alot of endurance but your anaerobics is lacking......that being said you will seriously pay for it when you cant muster up that short burst of energy to finish off your opponent so work on anaerobic conditioning alot! Northren Ogre
Add a lot of skipping to your regime if you want to improve your stamina. Skip twice as many rounds as you would fight....i.e. skip 6 3 min rounds with one min rest if you are fighting a three round fight...then start increasing the time. I have found that skipping really helped when I was prepping for full contact matches. http://prkickboxing.tripod.com
