Hello,

Thinking of joining martial arts. It is going to be for self defence only.

I read in a magazine to that Jeet Keen Do is the best for Martial Arts.

Can you fill me in on what the style is ?

Is there some webpages for it ? I cannot find any.

Thank you,

BB

um no not quite kirves, jkd is , your taught various techniques from other arts and you put the ones that work best for you together, to work for you, you modify them if you want, than later on it is suggested that you research a certain area of fighting i.e. grappling ,stick fighting etc.. and improve on it

do you even study jkd kirves ? and under whom might i ask?

And how does this differ from what I said? Pure semantics.

You sent me a pm accusing me of constantly trashing other martial arts on this forum. Let's make a deal. You show me where I trash other arts and in return I'll tell you what arts I study and where, okay?

I have said I read books. I have not said I study martial arts from books. There's a teeny bit difference.

You have not been able to show any case where I have trashed other arts, nor have you got any intimate knowledge of my training history. Sorry pal.

most of your post have been based on what other people have said, you probably just sit at home read about ma's on the net and call yourself a martial artist , WHO DO YOU TRAIN WITH?

top my knowledge there isn't a jkd instructor in finland

Yes, because I don't know it all.

WHO DO YOU TRAIN WITH?

1. You probably have never heard of them, as they are Finnish people.

2. The deal was that you first show me where I have trashed other arts. Notice, that you yourself used plural, so if at all possible show me several occasions. Ah, oh, as you pm:d me, you are too computer illiterate to search for my posts. Well, I believe if you are literate enough to pm me, you should be able to use the search button too.

I know at least two, one certified by Dan Inosanto, and one certified by Paul Vunak. And there's at least one certified Jun Fan instructor that I know of. There are also several JKD seminars held in Finland and neighboring Sweden and Denmark every year. Most JKD people in Finland take private instruction from their instructors during those opportunities.
