new member intro

Recommended Posts

hello; you can call me rushman. thank you for allowing me to become a member of this great martial arts forum.......

to introduce myself, i would like to say i'm not very good a tooting my own horn. but to meet and understand others i believe that one must give up some of themselves so others will do the same in return.

i was raised in HAWAII, so therefore i have basically a eastern outlook on life. i've studied many different martial arts for about twenty years. korean styles are my favorite. currently i hold a 3rd dan wtf/kukkiwon certification in taekwondo and a hapkido 1st dan cert. i now reside in ft. lauderdale, FLORIDA. USA

again thank you for allowing me to become a member of this fine forum for the martial arts.

That's a long time studying martial arts. And I am not in doubt about you being very good at it (3rd DAN).

Anyway which martial arts do you study?

And of course welcome!

sensei lars.....thank you for your warm welcome;

after trying many different martial arts during my younger days in HAWAII.......i have choosen taekwondo/hapkido as my martial art of choice. this is not to say that i am not interested or dismiss any other martial arts. it's just that taekwondo/hapkido are the ones i practice on a regular basis.

perhaps you may give me insight and new ideas through this forum. i would be most humble to recieve any learning you would be willing to spare.

again thank you for welcome.

LOL,

The pleasure is mine also.

Please just call me Tae. I have never been one who felt it right that anyone call me by Title..whether it is the one that goes with my rank, or education.

As far as the greatness goes..well, I don't see myslef as great...I just see myself, as one who has spent many years in the arts..and I am still learning.

Peace,

Tae

i thought that for my 1000th post in this great forum i would make it here in my introduction. sort of a type of time stamp or time capsule if you will.

i became a member at karate forums june of 2001 just a couple of month ago and have enjoyed every minute of it....i am by no means leaving but wanted to take this time to say that i really enjoy this site and all the friendships i have made so far and will make in the future.

thank you all for your patience and courtesy, and i hope this relationship can go on for a long time to be.

thank you for allowing me to be part of this great forum.
