iamrushman Posted June 4, 2001 Posted June 4, 2001 hello; you can call me rushman. thank you for allowing me to become a member of this great martial arts forum....... to introduce myself, i would like to say i'm not very good a tooting my own horn. but to meet and understand others i believe that one must give up some of themselves so others will do the same in return. i was raised in HAWAII, so therefore i have basically a eastern outlook on life. i've studied many different martial arts for about twenty years. korean styles are my favorite. currently i hold a 3rd dan wtf/kukkiwon certification in taekwondo and a hapkido 1st dan cert. i now reside in ft. lauderdale, FLORIDA. USA again thank you for allowing me to become a member of this fine forum for the martial arts. _________________ rushman 3rd dan wtf/kukkiwon florida [ This Message was edited by: iamrushman on 2001-06-05 16:29 ] rushman (karate forums sensei)3rd dan wtf/kukkiwon"saying nothing...sometimes says the most"--e. dickerson
Lars Posted June 5, 2001 Posted June 5, 2001 That's a long time studying martial arts. And I am not in doubt about you being very good at it (3rd DAN). Anyway which martial arts do you study? And of course welcome! Lars Østergaard
iamrushman Posted June 5, 2001 Author Posted June 5, 2001 sensei lars.....thank you for your warm welcome; after trying many different martial arts during my younger days in HAWAII.......i have choosen taekwondo/hapkido as my martial art of choice. this is not to say that i am not interested or dismiss any other martial arts. it's just that taekwondo/hapkido are the ones i practice on a regular basis. perhaps you may give me insight and new ideas through this forum. i would be most humble to recieve any learning you would be willing to spare. again thank you for welcome. rushman (karate forums sensei)3rd dan wtf/kukkiwon"saying nothing...sometimes says the most"--e. dickerson
