After 46 years with my sensei, I’m most assuredly connected with him; no doubts. As far as my students are concerned, and I speak for myself, we’ve connected at various levels, especially those that have been with me for a very long time.

Have there moments across the board of disagreements and such over those many years with both with my sensei and my students?? Absolutely. Can’t have one without the other but in the end, the connections never changed for the bad.

Can’t achieve anything without solid connections!!

To some extent yes, but also, I had my issues with all of them as I never found one who was without flaws. Though I know they felt the same way about me and, I am guessing, all of the students.
