August 29Aug 29 Is anyone aware of the new changes to the DBS enhanced checks.A new rule is stating all Instructors and Assistant Instructors will have to have the check to work with children in a supervisory position, regardless of whether someone in the location already has the DBS certification.Anyone who has any Convictions for violence or abuse against a minor will automatically be placed on the Barred List.Meaning that if they are caught still working with children they can be arrested and spend up to 5 years in prison.Change to the definition of regulated activity with children from 1 September 2026 - GOV.UK https://share.google/AHuDmdB0HX3z8zcvJ "Challenge is a Dragon with a Gift in its mouth....Tame the Dragon and the Gift is Yours....."
