KarateKen Posted Friday at 06:10 AM Posted Friday at 06:10 AM This goes out to @Patrick who lives in Los Angeles and @sensei8 who lives in Las Vegas. Hope you are staying cool in this crazy record heat wave that is happening where you are. Same to anyone else out there who is in the southwest, including Arizona where in Phoenix it has been over 100 degrees! Triple digit temps in March is bonkers, even for Arizona. I mean, technically it is still winter. Stay safe out there!
Patrick Posted Saturday at 03:06 AM Posted Saturday at 03:06 AM Thanks @KarateKen! It was the hottest St. Patrick's Day ever throughout much of Southern California. DTLA hit 98 degrees, breaking the previous record of 94 in 1914. My son (also Patrick) and I got out for part of it to have some fun, but have been inside a bunch this week. sensei8 Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Thanks, @KarateKen!! Heat stroke is nothing to take lightly. I was raised in the San Fernando Valley, so while the heat is unbearable at times in Las Vegas, my tolerance for the heat does have its limits, especially at my age. Humidity made summers in Houston ugly . Thank God for the invention of central HVC. From today to next Tuesday, Vegas temps will hover around 80-94 degrees for the highs. **Proof is on the floor!!!
