sensei8 Posted June 20, 2025 Posted June 20, 2025 My wife and I saw Karate Kid: Legands today. Less than 15 in the audience, which was no surprise seeing that it’s Thursday at 12:30pm. We both enjoyed it, and we both got a kick out of the very end; quite unexpected but appreciated it. Some things I saw were quite very predictable and I found myself shaking my head in wonder, yet, the pace was well done…movie was 1 hour and 30 minutes which was refreshing when most movies are 2+ hours. Seems like the majority of the Karate Kid movies seem to be focused on a tournament, and the Cobra Kai series was no exception. All in all…I’d see it again!! **Proof is on the floor!!!
KarateKen Posted June 30, 2025 Posted June 30, 2025 Haven't seen it yet. I think it will be on streaming soon, I will watch it then. Looking forward to this one.
KarateKen Posted July 4, 2025 Posted July 4, 2025 Just saw that Karate Kid Legends is expected to stream on Netflix in late September. Looks like it will be a while before I see it.

The movie is available to stream now, and has been since July 8, though I just learned of this. Thankfully the other info I had was wrong, and I will be watching it in the next few days. TTYS!!!
KarateKen Posted July 13, 2025 Posted July 13, 2025 Disappointing. The movie felt rushed and unoriginal. Other than the final fight scene I was bored.
JazzKicker Posted December 3, 2025 Posted December 3, 2025 I got through half of it on Netflix last night. I'm seeing a lot of echoes of the original and the Cobra Kai series, which is to be expected. A bit of a stretch to work in Jackie Chan, but I'll look forward to surprises in what seems like a predictable story line when I finish it up.
JazzKicker Posted December 6, 2025 Posted December 6, 2025 Well, to be expected, the fight scenes were unrealistic (no safety gear but nobody gets banged up except the boxer), but well choreographed. I liked the cameo at the end! 1
