Bugs? Errors? Things That Are Missing?

Thanks so much for mentioning this, Ken. You did not make a mistake. :)

I believe what happened here is you experienced a new feature here, which is that the software will try to save your current draft in the event of an error. So, for example, if the website went down or your internet went down, and the post didn't go through, it'll try to save whatever you wrote at the last point it was connected. I'm sure it's not perfect, but it will save some posts.

That's a cool feature!!

I had another post that did not submit, it was on the hockey thread from Saturday, came back on Sunday and it was not posted and when I went to post what I had written was still there, like of like a draft of an email.

*shurgs*

Thanks for letting me know, @KarateKen. When this happens, you don't actually see the reply posted, do you? Like the way you posted here and can see it, you don't actually see it after you press "Submit Reply"? It never advances past the Submit Reply button, right? There wouldn't be an explanation for that, so I am guessing what is happening is some sort of loss of connection somewhere (WiFi, cell network, possibly on our end). Thanks again.

It does not go through, so no I did not see it posted.  When I go back to the topic, it is saved in the reply space.  Kind of like when you write an email but don't send it and it goes into your draft folder.

There is a chance that I did not submit the reply for whatever reason...got distracted or whatever...so user error is also a possibility. :P

This is my post #711 I am now in the mood for a Slurpee.  Mmmmmmm, Slurpee.

I had another post in the football thread that did not submit.  When I went back to the thread there was no record of my writing it.  Is anyone else having this issue?

OK, ignore that.  There was no problem with the post, user error was the issue.  I posted in the wrong section and did not notice it at first.

Thanks for coming back to confirm that, KarateKen. I also just saw a post you had made on the football thread (either that or the baseball thread) that was meant for the hockey one, so I moved it over there.

Alright.  Since the new format I have been posting in wrong threads at times.  I will try to look more closely. Thanks for the update.

No worries! That happens to everyone. I just wanted to mention it in case it was a post that might have been considered missing. Thanks again.
