Cobra Kai, Season 6 (Spoilers)

Wife and I just finished watching the final 5 episodes. I witnessed some pleasant moments that surprised me.

The very last scene was the perfect way to end this series.

Wonder what, if any, spinoffs will come from Cobra Kai series?!

Eh......

I liked the series and it doesn't feel necessary to do anymore.  Even season six got a bit long with too many characters and storylines.  I could see the ending being in season five.  Keep Kreese dead in prison, Daniel beats Silver and Cobra Kai ends while Johnny, Barnes, and Chozen all help him do it.  Felt like the final season was dragging it out more than necessary.  

Maybe they are considering going in a different direction?

It's hard to say, but my reading of it implies some other storyline that follows someone else. Doesn't mean that Daniel and Johnny can't pop up somewhere, but this is probably the end of this core group being the main focus.

I just finished it up tonight.  I was kind of getting dragged down by the overly-dramatic things going on, and in the back of my mind I kept wondering why it was titled Cobra Kai when everything seemed to be turning up Miyagi-Do?  But then they brought everything full circle, and did a pretty masterful job of it.  Great end.

The only thing I wish we had gotten was a fight between Terry Silver and Mike Barnes, it would be awesome to see Barnes fight his former boss who also burned down his store.

I am almost done with season 5, but I feel like it's getting too much.

I think they are making the karate kid movie that's coming out in May of 2025 based the series? Unless I read it wrong..

It sounds like it's part of the same universe but there won't be much from Cobra Kai in Karate Kid: Legends.

The more I think about season 6 the less impressed I am by it.  Seasons 1-5 were awesome, six was eh. As much as I enjoyed the return of the Karate Kid/Cobra Kai world, I am fine with it being over.
