Bourne Identity fight Scenes... what style of fighting is used in them? Where can I learn how to fight like that? :) (no "it's just a movie" comments please).

The blade is only silent until it cuts through your flesh.

The movie is good. Best car chase in a long time.

The fight scenes are cut and sped up for super-duper-fast-action, but looks a lot like american kenpo at times. Though looks a lot like other arts too. Hey, he's a super agent, he's probably been taught American Kenpo, Krav Maga, Jujutsu, Hapkido and Systema.

I just threw up an example. While I disagree with you assertation that the Pukulan (which ever pukulan style you are thinking of) is neccessairily "faster" than Serak (or any of a hundred other Silats), I did not deliberately exclude it.

My list was not intended to be comprehensive, just examplitory.

Pukulan Pentjak Silat Bukti Negara is a subsystem of Serak. While Serak is an old school designed for a full time warrior, Pukulan Bukti Negara only has the core of Serak so the modern person with full time job and a family can still learn effective self defence method. It was founded by Pendekar Paul De Thouars.

Kali/Escrima was the style used on that film... i haven't seen the movie but i watched a "behind scenes" report and Matt Damon says the style was Kali.

Kali and American Kenpo, both have the fast-slapping hand action that can be made look like that in the film. The film had everything sped and cut up so it was hard to see much else than "slap and flash".
