KarateKen Posted October 17 Posted October 17 In a move that has many people angry, the Vegas Golden Knights have signed goaltender Carter Hart. Hart has been out of the league for almost two years, last playing in January 2024. Hart was one of the players accused in the 2018 Canadian Juniors Sexual Assault Scandal. Hart was found not guilty in July, but many people are still very upset that he is getting a chance to play again. Due to NHL rules, Hart will not be eligible to play for the Knights until December 1. I expect him to be a big part of the team, especially if the Knights continue to have goaltending struggles like they have had in the first few games of the season.
sensei8 Posted October 17 Posted October 17 (edited) Speaking about the Knights… Knights earn 1st home win of the season against the Bruins by final score of 6-5. Speaking about another Las Vegas team… The Las Vegas Aces have won their 3rd WNBA Final Championship in 4 years by sweeping the Phoenix Mercury. Aces Parade in downtown Las Vegas starts today at 5pm. GO KNIGHTS!! Edited October 17 by sensei8 **Proof is on the floor!!!
KarateKen Posted October 24 Posted October 24 (edited) The Hartford Whalers defeated the Quebec Nordiques on Thursday night, 5-4. It was the first time the two teams had faced each other in over 30 years when the Nordiques won 4-1 on May 3, 1995. The following season the Nordiques moved to Colorado and became the Avalanche, while the Whalers moved to Carolina to be the Hurricanes in 1997. Colorado and Carolina rolled back the clock three decades with the Hurricanes getting two points in the standings. I believe the teams have worn the throwback jersey's before and I think they scheduled do it again later in the season. I have an old school Nordiques hat and if I had known about that match up, I would have worn it tonight. Oh well. The San Jose Sharks also got their first win of the season, so now every team has at least one victory. Edited October 24 by KarateKen updated information
KarateKen Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago The Wild are 3-6-3, losers of five in a row, and the second longest losing streak in the league right now behind the Blues at 6. Islanders and Maple Leafs are also off to a slow start. The Flames have six points, worst in the league, while the Penguins and Avalanche both have 18 points, top in the NHL.
sensei8 Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago (edited) Knights are on a 6-game home-stand. To start off their 6-game home-stand the Knights faced the Avalanche, with didn’t end their way as they lost to the Avalanche 4-2. Knights will be waiting to face: Tue. Nov. 4 vs. Detroit 7 p.m. Thu. Nov. 6 vs. Tampa Bay 7 p.m. Sat. Nov. 8 vs. Anaheim 7 p.m. Mon. Nov. 10 vs. Florida 7 p.m. Thu. Nov. 13 vs. N.Y. Islanders 7 p.m. Knights are 1st in the Pacific with a record of 6-2-3. Season just barely started but thus far I’m liking what I’ve seen so far. We’ll see where the Knights stand when at the All-Star break. GO KNIGHTS!! PS: Living in Las Vegas I didn’t support any Vegas team. However, after living in Vegas for 4 years so far, I support both the Knights and the WNBA Aces. As far as the Raiders and the A’s…I like Allegiant Stadium, home of the Raiders, even though I can’t afford any of their tickets. Hopefully, I can afford A’s tickets once their new stadium opens so I can support my Yankees whenever they visit to play the A’s at home. Edited 17 hours ago by sensei8 **Proof is on the floor!!!
