I hope not because they knocked my Knights out of the playoffs!!

:P

((2nd quote is an accident; I was trying to press on the emoji button))

I hope not either, I can't stand Evander Kane.  I am hoping for a Winnipeg/Carolina finals.

How did you do that? :-o:lol:

Canes advance, beating the Capitals 3-1.  Jets stay alive with a 4-0 win against the Stars, game six in Dallas on Saturday.

Well arn't you the lucky one

Big game tonight for the Maple Leafs.  They will try to keep their season going in Florida after that disastrous loss in game five at home.  I'd like to see the Leafs win this game but all the momentum is with the Panthers, feels like the series ends tonight.

I know it’s bad of me, the way that I am when it comes to being a fan of sports, but more than not, I’ll lose interest of whatever is going on in whatever the playoff might be once the team I support is knocked out of the playoff and so on.

My Knights have been knocked out of the playoffs, so I’ve no more interest in the NHL playoffs.

Like I said, I know it’s bad of me to be that way!! Will I watch the Stanley Cup?? Depends on who’s playing.

:)

Leafs respond well, get the 2-0 win and force game 7 on Sunday.

Stars and Jets game 6 will be on Saturday.  Jets trail the series 3-2 and the game is in Dallas.  Jets are 0-5 on the road in the playoffs this year.

I don't see anything wrong with it.  None of us are obligated to watch sports.

Winnipeg Jets forward Mark Scheifele woke up this morning to the news that his father had passed away.  It was unclear if he was going to play tonight.  He did, and he scored the first goal of the game.  It was the only goal the Jets scored in a 2-1 overtime loss, ending their season.  Another Presidents Trophy winner that does not win the Cup.  The trend has been going for over a decade.  The last team to win the Presidents Trophy and the Cup in the same year, the 2012-13 Chicago Blackhawks.  Overall, another disappointing playoff run for the Jets.  Despite that wild game 7 win against the Blues, they end up going out in mostly unimpressive fashion, finishing 0-6 on the road in the playoffs.  Hellybuck did not play as well as he did in the regular season and another Canadian team bites the dust.  Only the Leafs and Oilers remain.  No team from Canada has won the Cup since the Canadians did in 1993.

Stars will face the Oilers. No date scheduled for the game yet.  Game 7 between the Leafs and Panthers will be Sunday at 7:30 eastern.

Panthers dominate the Leafs 6-1, win game seven on the road.  Panthers outscored the Leafs 12-2 in games five and seven in Toronto.  Bad showing for the Leafs, who have not been to the Cup finals since 1967, the longest drought of any team in the NHL.  Back then there were only eight teams in the league.  This also ends any chance of an all Candian final, as Florida will play Carolina in the East.  No announcements of the schedule yet for that series, but the game one between the Oilers and Stars will be Wednesday.

And then there were four.....
