What does the writing on the cobra kai wall says?

Featured Replies

There is a scroll in the 80s cobra kai dojo in karate kid 1 and 3. It seems like Japanese or Korean. You see it when Daniel enters the dojo or is training with Terry. From my understanding, it is a Japanese writing which is Hiragana.

I do not know how to post on this forum in terms of from the computer and cant find a pic of it on the internet.

It begins with the knowledge that the severity of a strikes impact is amplified by a smaller surface area.

Yeah, I’ve noticed that scroll too — it definitely looks more like Japanese script than Korean. If you can grab a screenshot from the movie, someone here could probably help translate it.
