P.A.L
for years I've been looking for a uechi-ryu school and a Yamanni-ryu teacher around Houston. I still can't find a Uechi-ryu practitioner in Houston but I finally found a Yamanni ryu teacher. He is part of Nishime Sensei organization and we gonna meet twice each month. He also got a none- tapered BO from sensei Nishime for me. I really like the BO handling of Yamanni ryu in comparison to other Bojutsu styles like Matayoshi or Matsumura. sensei8
Congrats on finding a dojo that fits your MA needs, and sorry to hear that you're not able to locate a Uechi-ryu dojo in Houston, TX. It's always nice to have a Bo bestowed upon you, especially when that someone's Nishime Sensei.Train hard and train well!! **Proof is on the floor!!! Spodo Komodo
Interesting bo kata, very heavy on striking which would make a non-tapered bo the best choice I suppose.
bushido_man96
Sounds like an awesome opportunity!very excited about it. Whoa! Snapped it in half! That was something! Do you suppose that had to do with the quality of the bo, or more to his power? https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
