I enjoy the series; it's sad that Season 7 will be the end. Titus Welliver is one of my favorite actors, he was great in Son's of Anarchy, my wife's most favorite series, even though his character only lasted through seasons 2-3.

I agree!! You ever notice how the good ones end after Season 7?!? I guess that's the barometer for that industry.

The very best get cancelled after season 1... Constantine...

I started watching Bosch but got a bit bogged down and just left it during season 1, might have to give it another go when I have no other series on the go.

Yeah, I feel like you'd definitely like it, Brian.

Well, I started watching it, and you're right, I am enjoying it. I've made it through season 1, and am almost finished with season 2. I really enjoy the Bosch character, and I also like Deputy Chief Irving (and enjoy Reddick from his roles as Charon in the John Wick series).

I don't gravitate towards cop shows in general, mainly because it's what I do and know what kind of things can and can't be done. I usually watch a few episodes at a time, and then have to quit, because there are only so many unlawful search-and-seizures I can put up with in one night...

But, that said, I am finding it enjoying to watch, and look forward to the coming seasons. I saw the character is based on a series of books, too. And the books are always better....(don't tell my wife!) :)

Haha, I'm glad. Yeah, Lance Reddick is just a cool guy in general. I have never seen any of the John Wick movies, but I have a feeling I'd like them a lot.

The books are great. I've listened to the first 6 or so via audio book (they just re-released the first book on audio book, read by Titus Welliver, who plays Bosch on the show).

A funny thing happened one day when I was in line for a plane at LAX. I looked behind me and noticed that Michael Connelly, the author of the Bosch series, was behind me. I've seen probably 20-30 people I recognized since moving to Hollywood and have never bothered any of them, but decided to say hi.

Originally, I intended to just say hi, tell him that I love the show and the books, and that I live in Hollywood right where the story is set. But he was very nice and we kept talking for several minutes as we waited to board the plane.

With that note, if anyone on KF ever makes it out to Hollywood and loves Bosch, let me know, and I'll give you a tour. Many of the locations are within a mile of me.
