What TKD texts would you recommend your students read? There are a lotof them out there, but which ones do you think best fit the bill as being most valuable to your students?

Alternatively, what's your favorite?

I'll answer later; I'm interested in what others have to say.

As in books?

Depends on the style of course but for ITF Chang Hon style Gen. Choi's 15 Volume Encyclopedia and Taekwon-Do (condensed encyclopedia) are the TKD Bibles. Also from the General I would say his Moral Guide Book though not about the techniques themselves.

Other books I have:

Hee Il Cho's books:

The Complete Martial Artist vol I and II

The Complete Master's Kick and The Complete Master's Jumping Kick

The Complete One & Three Step Sparring

Plus his other books on TKD forms

FGM Rhee Ki Ha's This is Taekwon-Do

For history:

A Killing Art by Alex Gillis

Taekwon-Do: Origins of the Art by GM Kim Bok Man

From Creation to Unification Stuart Anslow

Few more on my shopping list:

Kim Bok Man, Taekwon-Do Defence Against Weapons

Stuart Anslow's Encyclopedia of Taekwon-Do Patterns vol I and II

Stuart Anslow's Chang Hon Taekwon-Do Hae Sul
