WKF Gi question

I've read (somewhere) that the WKF rules dictate that the gi manufacturer's emblem must be on the right side of the chest, as well as on the back near the collar. Can anyone tell me why that is? I don't see a reason.

Excellent question. My guess says it’s all about advertising. Why a gi without the logos anywhere wouldn’t be allowed* is beyond me.

*I’m assuming a gi without them wouldn’t be allowed. I haven’t read the rules and nor do I care to, but everything I’ve seen states what you said.
