I also wonder if this will now bring some of the longer more advances katas to the for front statistically since less katas will be performed and you would need to lead with a stronger kata instead of saving it for later.Do posters on this board feel as a judge/competitor that you almost have to have a jump in the kata? The the rise of Unsu, chantanyara, and superempi along with the added jumps in kata's such as kosukunsho make me wonder if jumping is becoming one of the mainstays for top katas.Interestingly if they bring in actual technical experts several of the current competition kata timings will need to be changed. 2019 will be very interesting from a WKF point of view. Rank does not matter. If you can't learn from a white belt you are probably not deserving a black belt.
