bushido_man96 Posted July 26, 2018 Posted July 26, 2018 I think as a teacher I need my students to want to be better than me. This drives me to try to keep moving forward as well. Yes, I want them to get better than me, but I want them to earn it, as well. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
OneKickWonder Posted July 26, 2018 Author Posted July 26, 2018 I think as a teacher I need my students to want to be better than me. This drives me to try to keep moving forward as well. Yes, I want them to get better than me, but I want them to earn it, as well.I sometimes get to teach, although I'm not formally an instructor. I love it when someone I'm teaching a technique to either neutralises my demonstration of the technique, or gets a good one on me.Why?Because then I get to ask them to do it again, we study it, we experiment with it, they learn something, and I learn something.
