Hey folks!

Hey all. I'm happy to have stumbled upon this forum this morning.

I'm a beginner and current student of BJJ. I'm an "experienced" beginner in a combo of Shuri-ryu and Matsumura Seito Shorin-ryu (10+ years). I'm a few years out of practice due a few cross-country moves and a lack of legitimate dojos within driving distance.

I'm a graduate student whose SO and colleagues get sick of hearing me talk about martial arts, so hopefully this will be a more receptive outlet.

Nice to meet you all!

Welcome to KF Paloma

The person who succeeds is not the one who holds back, fearing failure, nor the one who never fails-but the one who moves on in spite of failure.

Southern Illinois, actually! Now I'm wondering if we might know a few of the same people.
