Very good for proving systems in a more violent environment than a dojo can proved. "As real as it gets"?......... NO. Real life is as real as it gets, with no towels thrown in and illegal moves. All in All I like it. Would I ever go in for it.....NO!

I think dats great man, i wanna fight professionally too. I think the UFC is a great testing ground and can make you some cash too(not as much as boxers of course)...So what do you train in? I'd assume some form of submission fighting(sambo, bjj, etc) as well as perhaps boxering and/or Muay Thai. But really its great, do you have a contract yet er r ya still tryin to get Dana White's attention?

I'm not "complaining" about it, I'm just pointing out that there are some styles out there that could completely decimate and of these UFC styles that are constantly being praised. I'd love to see anyone from BJJ take on a decent Aiki JuJitsu practitioner.

Thanks for the feed back. No, i dont have a contract. I'm still currently training (i dont want to get on TV and look stupid  ) I dont concentrate on one style. I practise in a mixture of striking and grappling.

I also believe that if some styles would compete it would be an awesome show.

"Most street proven" - I dont remember saying that. But I do think thats it as close to a "fight" as your gonna get without fighting on the streets.

I plan to compete in a MMA fight when I get my grappling skills up.

I think the UFC is as close to a real street fight without being in one. IMO, the practioners of styles that say their techniques are too deadly are in for a shock if they go to use them on the street..

It's a hybrid of a traditional form of Jujutsu (Aki-Jujutsu) that has elements of Kung Fu added in. It has a great balance between striking and grappling, weapons training, ki training and is probably the most "street effective" style I've seen. A solid Green belt can hold his own against most black belts.

But, yeah, it's almost completely unknown.
