DWx
Came across the Sparbar earlier: https://www.sparbar.co.ukLooks like a great bit of kit for solo-training. What do you think? Could something like this replace more conventional training tools?In-action: "Everything has its beauty, but not everyone sees it." ~ Confucius

bushido_man96
I've seen a similar tool posted before, and I think it would be an awesome bit of equipment to go along with other equipment, and of course, a good sparring partner. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
DWx
I'd love one but not sure I could just dropping £200 on even just the wall mounted version. Can't be that difficult to fabricate for personal use right? "Everything has its beauty, but not everyone sees it." ~ Confucius
JR 137
I don't know why exactly, but I immediately thought of the Hit-Away when I first saw it...https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Y-TAJowYPP4Picture a bunch of college clowns drinking in a basement while watching a baseball game, and taking turns at the Hit-Away that's attached to a support beam, and you've got a great picture of several of my college buddies. And me.The Sparbar is one of those things that made me wonder "Why didn't I think of that?"Looks like a great tool. Too pricey for me, but what isn't? I'd love to get one that I could attach to something like a support beam in my basement.Edit: Then again, a boxing slip bag is pretty similar and probably cheaper. And could be homemade with a small ball and some sort of net...https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=U12ys8kCGrAI've been wanting to get one.

A coworker of mine was bragging that he breaks the record every time he plays. Another coworker pointed out that the game gets a hard-reset every night. That made my day. 5th Geup Jidokwan Tae Kwon Do/Hap Ki Do(Never officially tested in aikido, iaido or kendo)
