There is, without any doubt, imho, the simplicity of Bruce's 5 Ways of Attack, in which I believe any MAist can learn from, and apply. However, these ways are not everyone's ways, nor do they have to be; it's a choice.

Thanks, Alan, for sharing the video.

We always have a choice but more often than not realize that there are others out there.

Here are five, that learning them isn't going to hurt to understand.

Thanks for all your comments sensei8.

"The Tao" is a dope book, would recommend to anyone who likes strategy or intellectualizing their problems.

Nice video, well sine. These concepts have saved my brain a lot of wear and tear.

Nice how Bruce Lee borrowed boxing ideas from the past, for developing his JKD and Boxers today are making a connection with them to use in the boxing ring.

Bruce Lee more than touched aspects of martial arts, he tried to improve upone it and ended up drawing up concepts and ideas still relevant today.

I wonder how many of his contemporaries were as well read

Bruce Lee with the internet would have been president

Or a blithering idiot. Depends on what your sources are and what you choose to believe based on your own knowledge. There is just as much junk out there as there is good information and I would actually argue a heck of a lot more junk that what is worth while.

The person who succeeds is not the one who holds back, fearing failure, nor the one who never fails-but the one who moves on in spite of failure.

Junk is what makes the internet go 'round. It can be compared with the proportion of very good and legitimate martial arts teachers and the number of less-than recommendable ones and outright charlatans in a given place. If the net was stripped of all junk, it would not be what it is. If there were only legitimately skilled instructors, martials arts would not be an industry or would be a very small niche indeed.

I've heard it said that, the more junk and rubbish there is, then the more the good stuff shines and stands out.

Yes there is alot of rubbish on the net and good stuff as well, it's knowing the difference that makes it all worthwhile.

Better to look and not find anything than to just wonder and never know.
