skullsplitter Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Jion, jitte, and jiin. Wow. I've just started jiin. Now when I go back and try to do jion or jitte I end up mixing them all together. Too many similar techniques put in different sequences amongst the 3. My head is going to explode
LLLEARNER Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 I am considering learning Jion for 100 kata day. "Those who know don't talk. Those who talk don't know." ~ Lao-tzu, Tao Te Ching"Walk a single path, becoming neither cocky with victory nor broken with defeat, without forgetting caution when all is quiet or becoming frightened when danger threatens." ~ Jigaro Kano
DaveB Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 Consider this: if these 3 kata make up a systematic progression like the pinan or naihanchi, what order do they belong in?
