Waterproofing a Heavy Bag

Recommended Posts

So I'll be moving soon and the place I'm moving to has a balcony that I can hang a heavy bag on. The balcony floor above the bag has a few gaps in it and rainwater will be falling on top of the bag.

My question is: are heavy bags waterproof so as the material inside the bag won't get wet? If not, I'll have to find a way to cover the heavy bag when it's not in use seeing as it's getting hung under a balcony outside.

You might be able to waterproof your bag with a waterproof solvent sold at hardware stores. One of my senior students has applied RainX solvent that he bought at a auto part store, and he's tickled pink.

Either wrap a huge thick plastic around it...or...take it inside whereas the rain won't harm it.

**Proof is on the floor!!!
