Venezolano Posted February 2, 2003 Posted February 2, 2003 Excuse me, what are the differences between UFC and Pride rules? Valencia - Venezuela.
Mr Heel Hook Posted February 2, 2003 Posted February 2, 2003 Tito Ortiz the best fighter ever?? The heck are you talking about? He is agreat fighter, but still not A class. So what, he beat up shamrock who is old and isn't that great in my opinion. No, he hasn't been tested well enough yet to fight the likes of MINOTAURO (sorry, his name is cool) or Inoue...Gracies...etc.etc.etc....There is no denying he is good, maybe great...but far from the best. The thing I hate though he is SOOOOO ARROGANT, but time after time, to my dismay, he has proven himself to be *almost* as good as he blabs. Who knows? Maybe someday I'll like him. Until then... "Tito Ortiz is a punk." "Tito Ortiz is a punk." "Tito Ortiz is a punk." "A deer admires a lion. But all the members of our family are lions. So it doesn't matter which lion I admire. " -Rener Gracie-
kenpo4life Posted February 2, 2003 Posted February 2, 2003 Venelozano, In Pride, you can kick and elbow a downed fighter. Plus with a ring, you cannot hold someone into a corner, a specialty of Titos If my survival means your total destruction, then so be it.
TJS Posted February 27, 2003 Posted February 27, 2003 "the best and toughest fighter in the world" perhaps in the UFC and entertainment arena. Not that I really know enough about it. But I am sure he is a great Athlete. Take Care. Well Everyone likes to claim to be great in some mythical way the great thing about the UFC is You actually have to prove it.

jiu-jitsu fighter Posted March 14, 2003 Posted March 14, 2003 superleeds im not sure what his original style was, im pretty sure it was boxing+wrestling, but now i know he trains in bjj/muay thai/boxing/wrestling "When we go to the ground, you are in my world, the ground is the ocean, I am the shark, and most people don't even know how to swim"
PhilM1 Posted March 23, 2003 Posted March 23, 2003 yeah right. i used to like tito ortiz, until i heard him talk. hes an egotistical show-off. remimds me of a football player. plus recently hes just gotten lucky. his fight with wanderlei. i say rematch. by decision? psh if it kept going you know wanderlei would probibly kill him. wanderlei is a beast allthough he doesnt show the best sportsmanship. im still a ken shamrock fan. fight til you die
