deadpoet
look y'all, the point of the matter is, tito is the greatest fighter to ever play the sport, you could tell the raw talent in his first appearance against guy mezger. although he lost to a guillatine or whatever, he still showed amazing raw talent. now he's harnessed his skills and gained discapline he's unstoppable. nobody can beat him. another thing, many ppl like to say that tito wouldn't have made it in the original UFC's b/c of the rule differences but come on guys, his training partener ricco rodriquez is a monster and he beats on tito all the time, he's a true warrior who adapts to and conquers everything in his past. some are born with it, it's a disease of aggression, although too many believe it's of evil nature. i was born through it and it's about respect and honor. Venezolano
let me laugh until i get defecated ROFL!!!!!!!!!! i don't think he has that "amazing raw talent" ... Ken Shamrock has 38 years now, and he was out of action for about 6 years, altought Tito is living maybe his best moment, but first "NOBODY" it's invencible.. Ken Shamrock wasn't in his best shape, i'd love to see Tito vs Vitor or Tito vs Lidell, it would be an interesting match (in fact, tito vs lidell is gonna happen soon). IMHO i think Tito has NO chance for example with Minotauro, so, say that he's invencible is a total BS. Valencia - Venezuela.
deadpoet
let me put it like this, vitor belfort is respectively the best bare knuckle fighter around and he is fierce, i give him that respect. his win against tank abbott proved that. but i've never seen a fighter with such adversity as tito ortiz. i do agree that the fight with tito and chuck lidell is going to be an awesome fight but i think i'll put my money down on tito. the only thing that i believe ruins the perception of tito is the ufc's persona for him. the ufc's nowadays are trying to create the drama of the wwf for a larger fan base, and in turn they're making it gay. but when it comes down to it, and tito's in that ring, he just want's everyone to see how bad he is. and he is bad. he'll prove it when he beats lidell. some are born with it, it's a disease of aggression, although too many believe it's of evil nature. i was born through it and it's about respect and honor. Venezolano
i have no doubt that tito is good, but i think he talks very much Valencia - Venezuela.
TKDMASTER
Give tito respect!!!!!!!!!! He is not a true champ Tito was destroyed by Frank Shamrock in just a few rounds he was badly beaten into submission. Tito should never never get that kind of respect till he goes up against a another great fighter. Shamrock was great in his day and i mean in his day which was about 12 years ago. Tito will probally most likely lose to chuck but if he doesnt remember frank beat Jeremy horn which beat chuck so anyway you put Frank is the man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! jiu-jitsu fighter
DID YOU GUYS FORGET THAT CHUCK LIDELL AND TITO ORTIZ cross train in bjj under my grandmaster andre perdernieras at his las vegas academy, thats why lidell did so good against vitor, vitor is really good he has to learn to kick , and if not, than he has to at least me able to read his opponent so he can defend lidells powerfull kicks all the fighters deserve respect, they train hard and they fight hard , thats the bottom line, some of them might be a$$holes as people , but they all deserve respect as fighters "When we go to the ground, you are in my world, the ground is the ocean, I am the shark, and most people don't even know how to swim"
Venezolano
Yes jiu-jitsu fighter, you're right, but i'm not agree that "he is a legend" Valencia - Venezuela.

kenpo4life
Okay, Let me start with the easy stuff. First of all, Chuck did not KO Vitor. He won by decison from a fight that Vitor only trained a month for. Plus the ring rust factor must be considered. Not dissing Chuck, I think that he is highly over-rated. Tito DID lose to Frank. But at the time, Tito had only 4 pro fights against all of Frank's experience and ability. Ken is WAY past his prime. NOt just because of his age, but because of all of the wars he has been in. Tito is a good fighter no doubt. But he cuts easily 12-15 pounds per fight. I dont think that is fair. In Pride, under Pride rules, I dont think tito can beat Silva. Tito is good at using the fence, in Pride it wont work. If my survival means your total destruction, then so be it.
