Kind of new with the whole intro. and forums routine so please be patient. If there's anything you want to know that I leave out, just ask. Otherwise, here's the lowdown.

My name is Matt and I currently live outside from Lexington, Ky. Although I have moved around, this is my home state and favorite place. My occupation is that of a machinist for a local company. At home, I have a wife and two daughters. In my spare time, it's nice to spend time outdoors doing sportsmen activities and of course martial arts. Due to some moving and other changes, I have at times practiced different martial art styles. My preference is toward Southern Kung-Fu (short fist) or Okinawan Karate.

Thank you for allowing me to join your forum. I like to ask lots of questions and hope that doesn't upset anyone. I also prefer not to get into those "my style is better" routines. Everyone has a reason for what they do, and that is as it should be.
