Karateka_latino Posted November 10, 2002 Posted November 10, 2002 Now seriously.. either Bruce Lee, Helio Gracie, Jigoro Kano, Funakoshi, Ueshiba, They were all inovators and we have to be thankfull for all the things they did for martial arts.
Karateka_latino Posted November 10, 2002 Posted November 10, 2002 OH how could i forget... My favorite legend... Wong Fei Hong.
superleeds Posted November 11, 2002 Posted November 11, 2002 I'm making my own legend so I'll chose myself. lolI was going to say that!! I think I would go for either J.Chan, Bruce Lee or Jet Li, for all the "wrong" reasons: Women, money, fame and not least: flashy moves Read a book!
kicker Posted November 11, 2002 Posted November 11, 2002 I guess like bruce Lee maybe someone else but I can't think of the name. when you do your best it`s going to show. "If you watch the pros, You will learn something new"
KickChick Posted November 12, 2002 Posted November 12, 2002 I'm just happy being plain old me! I'm a legend in my own mind Seriously though.... I only wish I knew what I know now when I was younger .... but that's not just in martial arts!
ramymensa Posted November 13, 2002 Posted November 13, 2002 I'm just happy being plain old me! I'm a legend in my own mind Really KickChick, are you sure you don't have a kid in Romania? She calls herself ramymensa I wanted to say the same thing. i don't want to be a "clone " of another legend. If I'll become a legend myself, Ok, if not ... who cares. I'm OK in my own shoes. Bratt Posted November 14, 2002 Posted November 14, 2002 Hmm...Bruce Lee of course, but I'd be curious to spend a day as Morio Higoanna or Bob Degleish (?) BladeLee Posted November 14, 2002 Posted November 14, 2002 I agree with what you guys are saying about "being yourself" but lets just say.."if you could possess the skill of any legend, who would it be". In that case, Bruce Lee hands down...he has taught me more than anyone else in my life time Not to being the biggest influence on me and ya Bruce all the way heh. ~BladeLee~
kenpo4life Posted November 18, 2002 Posted November 18, 2002 If I had to be someone else, I would be Mas Oyama If my survival means your total destruction, then so be it.
