As we reach the final few training sessions of the Year, our classes tend to drop the formal training session format and instead we swap over to fun (Taekwondo and Fitness related activities). Do any other schools do this? If so, what kind of activities do you do?

In class we'll host obstacle races with agility ladders, hurdles, nets etc. Or sometimes do mini team spars or team forms, or competitions such as who can do the most push ups, sit ups etc.

Years ago, at my ATA school, after testings, we had a "fun week," waiting for results to come in. We'd do things other than the typical class formats of basics, forms, one-steps, and sparring. Sometimes, we'd have other instructors come in and teach, or work specifically on self-defense related stuff, or other things like that.

Right now, we have a week off for Christmas, so nothing like that going on.

The kids class played games, ate cookies and drank KoolAid.

The Adults...well, we went to Moose's Saloon and drank beer and ate pizza.

More like an office party actually..lol
