Quaoar A.K.A. 2002 LM60 (the new planet)

It was found a while ago though.

 

Has anyone heard of the new planet in our solarsystem?

So that makes 10 planets all togetheir if they make it into a planet because I think that it isn't quite yet.

I wouldn't concider it a planet, and I don't think it will become one in the further. It is way too small and way to far away. Just because it revovles around the sun does not make it a planet. THere are astroids and pieces of space debree larger then quaoar, they revolve around the sun and they are not conicdered planets. Altough this is some pretty interesting stuff, good post kicker

It would be interesting if it became a planet, but I don't think it fits their criteria now. Pluto doesn't fit their criteria now either, but it would seem wrong to just "demote" it.

Ya I agree the name is werid and kind of hard to pronounce (kwah-o-wahr) but the name isn't offical yet.

 

Also I think that they should make some more tests on the planet if they can to see if it really is a planet or isn't.
