What's natural in the MA??!! Glad you liked the video. What I mean by " natural " many wing chun guys when they train in Chi Sao will have programed attacks and counters. In this videos it was unrehearsed and completely spontaneous. http://www.youtube.com/user/sifumcilwrath"When the student is ready the master will appear"
Titanium Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 That's what I like about Chinese MA, they are trained mentally how to fight without having to think about it. I really liked the video, thanks for sharing. “Spirit first, technique second.” – Gichin Funakoshi

sensei8 Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 I've mentioned this to stonecrusher69 the many similarities the Wing Chun and Shindokan have, especially in the short range area; Shindokan is Okinawa Karate-do. **Proof is on the floor!!!

I find that as one progresses higher up the ranks in an Okinawan system, the more like kung fu the techniques appear. This is certainly the case for the Shorin Ryu that I learned. Martial arts training is 30% classroom training, 70% solo training.https://www.instagram.com/nordic_karate/

After all, Shindokan is Shuri-te and Okinawa-te based, so it's true...the horse doesn't wonder to far away from the barn. **Proof is on the floor!!!
