Sounds pretty good. Do you know what is the media it records to (i.e. flash memory - like an SD card or USB port, or mini-disc, etc)?

I guess, for the price, you could buy it and see. But I tend to stick to name brands with solid review histories.

Whoa...that's exactly the camcorder I was looking at. I wanted to get a very basic one so that I can learn the ins and outs of working it. I'm sure that I can do that with a name brand, but, I'm newer than newer with this type of things.

I've not decided on it yet, so, that's why I wanted some input before I waste any money.

I do not know much about video cameras, however the description leads me to beleive it is a good camera.

I don't take photographs either, so I really can't help.
