there is a kata that it´s name was something like "neuro" I do not remember well, What if I remember is that we learned after mioyo. kata began in the same position as mioyo but instead of having arms at breast height were drawn down, then the position was zenkustu dachi to the left, bringing the arms towards this direction and look to the other.

Do you Know what is the correct name?

It would be most helpful to anyone inclined to help you if you could provide the name of the system teaching the kata you are referring to. Without this or other key details it is very difficult to give a possible name.

I've heard of an awful lot of kata, but neuro and mioyo are ones I have never heard of. It might help if you told us the style you are practicing.

I learnt it when I was young , and I don`t remenber well, but I think that karate style was shito ryu. I´m watching a lot videos but I don't find what I want.

Myojo kata is this

Thanks!

According to the video link from YouTube it is Shito-ryu. This is a Japanese style known among other things by its very high number of kata practised. This might also make it difficult to determine which one the OP is looking for. A person who trains in shitoryu would be the right one to ask.

A search of known kata from shitoryu showed over 50 kata names but none even remotely similar to the name neuro. Myojo is a high level form and only practised by some branches and schools. Does the OP remember a dojo or instructor name?

Does Nipaipo, or Nepai ring any bells? I've heard the first syllable in Naihanchi can be pronounced as naiho which is similar to neuro.

I've found this list of Shito-Ryu kata, perhaps you can find what you're looking for: http://www.blackbeltwiki.com/shito-ryu-karate-katas

It is not any of you who have proposed me, I've been looking at the list and neither encounter.

I practice karate in the gym at my school as an extracurricular activity, not on any official dojo. My instructor at that time was fourth dan.

I'll keep looking at the list and see if I can find any like what I remember

PS: I'm form spain

Thank you so much :)

OK lidia14, who was your instructor? That could help us out. If you can't remember can you tell us where you trained?
