I figured a wooden Tinbe would suffice, though I would rather buy it for quality reasons. The Rochin seems simple enough to make though. Thanks guys! However, if you intend to do any kumite, I would recommend paying the money for one which is designed to withstand the rigors. Speaking from experience of using a home crafted one to do so. R.
