SaiFightsMS
The kimchee I remember being made was done in the fall. It was cabbage mixed with seasonings and other stuff and placed in large crocks to pickle. And it smelled really foul in the making. In the country I saw crocks outside of the houses and in the cities I saw the crocks on rooftops.

rabid hamster
well mike when my mom once made a whole bucket of the stuff she left it in the fridge in a container. but accidently she didn't close the container all the way. later when we opened up the fridge the whole kitchen smelt like fart. but the kimchi tasted good. smelling is believing!
