Hakuho breaks Sumo record

Recommended Posts

I don't know how many people here follow Sumo, but this past Basho was won by yokozuna Hakuho, making it his 33rd Basho victory and breaking his mentor's record of 32. Pretty cool!

Cool stuff! Its nice to see some Sumo news. Thanks for sharing this. It looks like that practitioner is set up for a long run at stretching the record, too.

When I was living in Hawaii, used to follow all da Hawaiians back in da day...Akebono, Musashimaru, and Konoshiki. Konoshiki was my favorite although I dont think he ever made Yokozuna.
