tallgeese Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 Here is my groups weekly recap. We spent all week attacking from mount. Something that has to be addressed AFTER learning to maintain the postion in the first place. In this video, we deal with the individual that wants to grab and hold from the bottom mount to prevent offense. Enjoy, and comment. Debate and comments are, as always, welcome. http://alphajiujitsu.com/https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJhRVuwbm__LwXPvFMReMww
sensei8 Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 As always, great tutorial; quite dynamic transition. I always appreciate it when one can get the "hugger" types to release without doing any striking. Btw, your BB looks good on you!!I also got a kick out of the guy over your shoulder in the beginning of your tutorial. **Proof is on the floor!!!
pittbullJudoka Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 Nice I'll have to remember this one gives me another kimura option. You need to put this stuff together on a dvd. I'd buuy one. Great job.
tallgeese Posted November 24, 2014 Author Posted November 24, 2014 Thanks for the votes of confidence guys! Appreciated. The guy in the back is Kent, he's the MT instructor at the gym. That pretty much sums his personality up in a single frame! http://alphajiujitsu.com/https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJhRVuwbm__LwXPvFMReMww
bushido_man96 Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 Nice video, a nice Kimura option. If I am ever able to get to mount, I might be able to use this one, since it doesn't rely on a gi really. I like how you really key on the position of the limbs on everything, like the leg in tight to the shoulder, and how you use the hips. These things will really help me out in the long run. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
