I'm of the opinion that applications training should start very early in training, and continue to be refined from then on. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com

I'm of the opinion that applications training should start very early in training, and continue to be refined from then on.I agree also. I teach applications early on. As soon as you can perform the physical movement the student should know what it means and how to use it. I have 3 levels of applications for each movements 1st level is the simplest to understand and perform, 2nd level is a little more difficult because its based off your opponets counter, and the 3rd level is an advance level so the student at this level has a good understand of the art and has the ability to modifie it to fix the situation. http://www.youtube.com/user/sifumcilwrath"When the student is ready the master will appear"
