I bought it for myself and asked him to get it signed for me at the next miyagi chojun festival as Higaonna Sensei is his Sensei. I saw his interest In the book and boom, the lightbulb went off.

I've been at the dojo for nearly one year now. My mother-in-law is quite talented and does sandblasting, so I have had her sandblast the school name and logo into a piece of glass. I will be giving him that for Christmas. I thought it would be a nice, unique gift. I hope he likes it.

Yes I'm with the iogkf and from what I understand the Miyagi chojun festival will be the last opportunity for us to train with Higaonna Sensei outside of Okinawa.
