thaiboxerken Posted July 12, 2001 Posted July 12, 2001 hey, I call women chicks all the time too. And I am often with more than one chick in the sack. Hehhe.. Not a lie either. Just kick 'em, they'll understand.- Me Apprentice Instructor under Guro Inosanto in Jun Fan Gung Fu and Filipinno Martial arts.Certified Instructor of Frank Cucci's Linxx system of martial arts.
Patrick Posted July 12, 2001 Posted July 12, 2001 Well, lets try not to call women "chicks" on here much anymore, although I know your intent is not to be disrespectful, many can percieve it as such and there really is no reason to say it anymore. Kickbutt Posted July 12, 2001 Posted July 12, 2001 Oops, I didn't mean to start anything!!! I was just joking around with the guys, Patrick I don't think it's disrespectful at all - just kinda corny...sorry bout the misunderstanding! Lori If you think something small cannot make a difference - try going to sleep with a mosquito in the room.-Unknown-
Patrick Posted July 12, 2001 Posted July 12, 2001 Still, not exactly the best thing, but, since none of the women have said anything, you guys may indulge yourselves by saying it. lol But... I don't see the point in constanting talking about "the sack" LOL. Lets stick to Martial Arts. Karateka Posted July 13, 2001 Posted July 13, 2001 I have many girlfriends who actually liked me calling them chicks. It is really great. Although there was one who I called chiquita, but we won't go into that. "Never hit a man while he's down; kick him, its easier"Sensei Ron Bagley (My Sensei)
Tim Greer Posted July 13, 2001 Posted July 13, 2001 I don't recall ever calling a woman or girl a "chick" in my life. I also don't refer to them as "broads" either. Then again, I don't refer to my wife as my "old lady" either. It just seems too "biker" like or trailer-park-ish to me. Now, calling someone "meat" is something else. Heh, heh. I guess it's all how you're raised, and even though it's not a big deal for most people, I do think it doesn't sound quite right. _________________ Regards, Tim Greer | xanth@digital-star.com | Phone: 530-222-7244 Server/System administration, programming, security, consulting. Angus Posted July 13, 2001 Posted July 13, 2001 One of my friends at university i call "my groovy dancer chick" cos she's a good dancer. I called a girlfriend of mine 'meat' one time also but that was under certain circumstances and it was apropraite... *Has anybody seen my ego?* Angus Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear, not absence of fear.
Tim Greer Posted July 13, 2001 Posted July 13, 2001 See, I learn more every day. I'm going to sit here and ponder new, possibly vular names to refer to my wife as and see what she thinks. *LOL* Regards,Tim Greer -> admin@chatbase.com | Phone: 530-222-7244I study any and every style and I'm always looking to spar!!Also, if I'm not around for a while, I'm just away training.

Kickbutt Posted July 13, 2001 Posted July 13, 2001 Yeah, I'd be real impressed if my hubby started calling me his "Old Lady" Lori If you think something small cannot make a difference - try going to sleep with a mosquito in the room.-Unknown-
