Karateka
Good Luck to everyone in the tournament. Don't worry about Kata. See the opponents, not the referees. Slider
Hey guys, Competitions are GREAT! Most competitions are well run, and the staff is quite professional. I highly reccomend the NASKA, or NBL/SKIL tournament circuits myself. No matter what, there will be some funky experiances you will have in the coarse of competiting, but its all in good fun. Depends on how you look at it. Competitions are meant to be fun. Try not to look at them in a bad light if you haven't been to one, or simply didnt bother to compete as much for whatever reason. Not really fair to the tournament, and it competitors. One of the best ways to meet people, and travel is by way of karate competiton, and is an excellent way to meet your fellow martial artists as well. I highly reccomend it, and I encourage ALL my students to compete. Hasta!! Slider http://www.spooxdl.homestead.com/files/slider3.jpg Check out "Koldsteel" Enterprises. We offer a wide variety of aluminum samurai swords for training or competition. All of these swords are light as a feather, but look awsome.
