Kensai Posted October 14, 2002 Posted October 14, 2002 Although, I could be a little jealous of the way he looks. He is a fit guy, but MY GOD, have a childhood. To be honest that body would be great when your about 21, but he is 10. I just think it does not look quite right. Take Care
G95champ Posted October 14, 2002 Posted October 14, 2002 I saw thsi kid on TV once. Im not a fan of child athlests only becasue I agree you need a childhood. I mean playing with people your own age not being put on a workout program. Still yet it is amazing and I respect anyone who takes the time and efort it takes to get a body like that rguardless of his age. (General George S. Patton Jr.) "It's the unconquerable soul of man, and not the nature of the weapon he uses, that ensures victory."
KickChick Posted October 14, 2002 Posted October 14, 2002 more info here .... http://www.craigproductions.com/RichardS.htm Obviously, he has been brought up around martial arts and fitness. He knows of nothing else. Normal childhood? I don't think that is accessible to him. I can't see how 1.5% bodyfat can be healthy for a growing child or making $$ off of him too!
SaiFightsMS Posted October 14, 2002 Posted October 14, 2002 I have to admit I am at a loss for words too. It is impressive but a bit odd as well.
ZeRo Posted October 14, 2002 Posted October 14, 2002 i must agree with everyone, kinda impressive but not at all right at the age of 10.
LeaF Posted October 14, 2002 Posted October 14, 2002 To be honest I don't see anything wrong with what this kid is doing. He obviously is a gifted individual, and it looks like his training is not encompassing his intire childhood(according to his web site he only trains 45 mins a day 5 days a week, thats less then most of us). This kid is studying collage level math, which proves he is not some Joe, and if he enjoys what he does, why not Goju Ryu Karate-do and Okinawan Kobudo, 17 Years Old 1st kyu Brown Belt in in Goju Ryu Karate-do, & Shodan in Okinawan KobudoGiven enough time, any man may master the physical. monkeygirl Posted October 14, 2002 Posted October 14, 2002 Is it possible that this kid is being submitted to steroids? I find it hard to believe that this can be healthy...but then again I don't know many 10-year-olds who work out. Maybe they would look like this too. The college level math must take up a large portion of his time. It says he plays with his sister, but nothing about other children. And a fifth degree blackbelt? What, did he get his first degree when he was THREE?? This all seems very strange and unnatural to me. 1st dan & Asst. Instructor TKD 2000-2003No matter the tune...if you can rock it, rock it hard.
omnifinite Posted October 14, 2002 Posted October 14, 2002 When I was 12 there was this one guy in my PE class who was almost as buff as that (he was the same age). I guess with certain people it's possible. I'm a little more concerned about the 5th degree black belt. I mean... if his dad has been training him his entire life... I guess he could have that knowledge of the entire system. But man... just seems strange. How could he be old enough for that title? But that's another thread. 1st Dan HapkidoColored belts in Kempo and Jujitsu
rabid hamster Posted October 15, 2002 Posted October 15, 2002 Well if he is studying COLLEGE math at 10 why not a 5th degree? It's almost freaky. College math? Jeez this kid is smarter then me. And his body doesn't seem "right" for a 10 year old. But yeah he is gifted. It is only with the heart that one can see clearly, for the most essential things are invisible to the eye.
