stonecrusher69 Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 This video covers a more in depth view of the Wing Chun Center Line and how it should be applied. This video is a companion to my previous video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qnfYelc04_s " Chi Sao-Crossing the bridge " * Sorry this video ends so abruptly. My camera batteries died at the last 2 minutes of the video..https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4mguT6Qr_Fs http://www.youtube.com/user/sifumcilwrath"When the student is ready the master will appear"
sensei8 Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 Your understanding of Center Line isn't to be ignored, imho. Any style of the MA, imho, needs to grasp an understanding and more concerning the Center Line because the application crosses the 't' and dots the 'i' in forward/angle transitions. **Proof is on the floor!!!

Alan Armstrong Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Hi stonecrusher69. Your videos do have many valid points regarding chi Sao practice. Thank you for sharing. The only issue that concerns me is the ratio of you (regarding the size lengh and weight of your forfarms) compared to your chi sao partner. You are occupying double the centre line than he is. I'm not talking about the horizontal or vertical centre line but the ones (yes plural) directly between you and your partner. Also these centre lines between the both of you is not centered at all because there is no allowances given on either side to take in to consideration for the height diferation. Perhaps another video is in order to clarify these few points. Once again thank you for sharing and will be looking forward to seeing more of your views on this topic.
