JusticeZero Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 It's an arbitrary color progression set up by their style to denote skill level for students so that an instructor in their style visiting from a different school can see at a glance what techniques they can safely demonstrate on a student. Rateh Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 Every school uses them differently. We use them to show the curriculum that a student has passed off for their belt rank. These are color coded. One of the colors represents attendance rather than curriculum.Once a student has all of the colors, they know they are eligible to test at our next scheduled testing.
