Kyle-san
Oh yeah, another good read (even if it's more strategy than martial arts) is: The Art of War by Sun Tzu

karatekid1975
Patrick, You put on there: "Tang Soo Do by Kang Uk Lee - Recommended by karatekid1975" Eventhough I have that book and it is good, I recommended Authentic Tang Soo Do by C.S. Kim. Which you can get from the ITF (Not the TKD one ... http://www.tangsoodo.co.uk/book.htm ). Laurie F
amp
"Aikido Exercises for Teaching and Training" by C.M. Shifflett:: If you're just starting out in Aikido, this book will help you get right into it fast. It's absolutely great. No Aikido student should train without it. "Hapkido: Traditions, Philoisophy, Technique" by Marc Tedeschi: This book is one of the best books on any martial art, ever. It's so comprehensive. Expensive but worth it. "Aikido for Life" by Gaku Homma: This was the first book I read on Aikido. I knocked it out in a few hours. It's a very good introduction to AIkido. "Tao of Jeet Kune Do" by Bruce Lee: It's a very informative book, although probably better if supplemented with training. I read it before I ever set foot in a Dojo/Dojang.[/b] Know thyself. omnifinite
Comprehensive Applications of Shaolin Chin Na (Qin Na: The Practical Defense of Chinese Seizing Arts for All Martial arts Styles) Jwing-Ming Yang The Power of Internal Martial Arts: Combat Secrets of Ba Gua, Tai Chi, and Hsing-I Bruce Kumar Frantzis I looked through these two today and loved them, especially the latter. What's going on with the books page with the broken link? It sounds like it would be a great resource. 1st Dan HapkidoColored belts in Kempo and Jujitsu
